Los Angeles Erupts in Celebration as Los Angeles Dodgers Claim Back-to-Back World Series Championship
The City of Angels witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Local events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.

The procession path concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the players walked out to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and the artist cruising a Pacific blue classic car around the field.

The World Series served as a bright spot in what has been a challenging year for Los Angeles. An estimated 225,000 people attended to the Dodgers’ victory parade last year, and according to team member one athlete, fans this year showed equal or greater support.
