Palestinian-American Adolescent Released Following Nine-Month Period in Israel's Detention

An Palestinian-American teenager who spent 270 days in Israeli detention without being charged was released.
The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old during his detention in February within the occupied West Bank, where he was visiting while residing in Florida for allegedly throwing stones at Jewish settlers, which he previously denied.
American diplomatic officials expressed satisfaction with the news of Mohammed's release.
Currently aged sixteen, was taken to hospital upon gaining freedom, relatives told the media.

The state department announced ongoing to provide consular support for the Ibrahim family.

Several congressional representatives endorsed a document to the state department and President Donald Trump, demanding more be done to release him.
Mohammed's parent, a father-of-four managing a frozen treats business based in Tampa, previously claimed his child admitted guilt about rock throwing due to physical abuse.
